Congratulations to Dr. Chen on publishing in JACS his first paper based on results his group has performed at UNM, “Unraveling the Nature and Role of Layered Cation Ordering in Cation-Disordered Rock-Salt Cathodes” by You Wang, Shengchi Huang, Basirat Raji-Adefila, Alexandra Outka, Jeng-Han Wang*, and Dongchang Chen* (https://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/jacs.2c07473). 

Dr. Chen joined CCB as an Assistant Professor in January 2021, coming from a post-doctoral appointment at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He is establishing his research program in energy storage and conversion (https://dongchangchen.wixsite.com/mysite) using electrochemistry and spectroscopy to study the behavior and ion dynamics in Li⁺ batteries and other systems.
