Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility
The NMR facility has two multinuclear liquids spectrometers: a Bruker Avance 500 and a Bruker Avance III 300, both standard bore systems. In addition, the facility has a Bruker Avance III 300 wide bore system intended primarily for solid state NMR, but also available for solution experiments.
Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Facility
The Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Facility provides and maintains instrumentation for proteomics, functional protein analysis and the mass spectrometry need of UNM investigators (and others). We provide full service sample processing on a fee basis including mass spectral analysis, protein identification, and data analysis. Current instrumentation includes an Applied Biosystems 4700 Proteomics Analyzer, and a Waters/Micromass LCT Premier mass spec.
Thin film processing and Solar Cell Fabrication Facility
Glovebox-based thin film deposition and device fabrication and characterization. Multiple thermal sources for metal deposition and RF sputtering sources. Please contact either Profs. Yang Qin or John Grey for current user fees and training.
