Message from Dean Peceny:

I am pleased to announce that Jeremy Edwards has accepted my invitation to serve as the next Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, effective January 1, 2020 through July 31, 2024.  Please join me in thanking Jeremy for his willingness to serve and Marty Kirk for his willingness to stand as a candidate for the position.  Colleagues expressed considerable enthusiasm for both candidates, but I asked Jeremy to serve because he received majority support among the voting faculty.  I look forward to working with Jeremy to advance the important work of the department.
