2019 Medicinal Chemistry Study Abroad Program

The 2019 Medicinal Chemistry Study Abroad Program, led by Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology faculty Alisha Ray and Lisa Whalen, was recently awarded $5000 from the Study Abroad Allocations Committee and the Office of the Provost. Fourteen students applied to the program and will complete Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology courses at UNM and follow up with a study abroad component in Darmstadt, Germany and Berlin. These funds will help pay for classroom/classroom equipment rental and room and board while the group is in Germany from May 12-26, 2019.
