Application Procedures
Graduate students should send all application materials (1 copy of official transcript,
application and registration forms, statement of intent, and 3 letters of recommendation)
directly to the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology for initial screening. The Department will pay the
application fee. Once you are accepted by the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, your application will be
forwarded to the Office of Admissions for formal
acceptance to the university.
Send all materials directly to the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Original transcripts,
certificates of degrees and diplomas must be in original language and English with all
appropriate seals and signatures. If accepted by the department, your application will be
forwarded to the International Admissions office for formal acceptance. Official and current
TOEFL scores must be submitted before the International Office will consider your application.
GRE scores are not required but are highly recommended for all applicants. For international
students TOEFL scores must be 550 or above for the paper test, or 213 or above for the computer
test and the test must be taken within two years of applying.
